And there is <>. i'll have a try with . wwwaaaaaau it goes to kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k nls_iso8859-1, errno =2 read_super_block: can't find a reiserfs filesystem on (dev 03:02, block 64, size 1024 read_super_block: .... Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:02 power off and to a nice beer - that will help - makes me brave and less nervous. if it does help to me i'll have the next ones with my laptop. next is the mandrake 9.1. it boot nicely. o god, that installation is time consuming. if it will continue with this speed - i'll run out of ..?.. the installation procedure might unnecessarily slow, but it is working - and after a hours time the linux version is installed. some questions - what do you think ? - how many of the poeple is downloading your images and goes the described way. get a bad image of rock and --- tell all world about the bad experience with rock? - what is the cause of i was not able to install the rock images (i downloaded mandrake as i did with rock, same way, same hw) ? - how much brave do i need to get rock installed? (8 coffee, 4 beers, 2 château, 1 jonny) what motivation could make me try to install a rock-linux over a running installation? i can live with all at&d and bsd systems. what would you do? sorry for my english - obviously not my native language :-)) have fun george -- To unsubscribe from this list: send a mail with the subject "unsubscribe rock-linux" to .
