Well... the last days I continued my linux 2.6.4 + gcc 3.3.3 journey. I kind
of have every (sorely) needed package running except util-linux ... I even
have KDE and postgresql (both working!) with only 116 packages(!). Well, and
"mine" also still fails... but here you can see the (short) list anyway:
Error logs from eagle-2.0.1-x86-pentium3-32-generic-expert:
[1] 982 base/util-linux [1] 0 base/iproute2
[3] 948 base/util-linux [5] 241 base/alsa
[5] 0 base/mine [5] 0 x11/linux-drm
[5] 22 x86/apmd [5] 0 base/iproute2
[5] 0 avm/noteedit
172 builds total, 163 completed fine, 9 with errors.
The build is based on svn 2581
What I'm missing is util-linux, and mine wouldn't be too bad of course. I used
a couple of patches from fake (THANKS Alejandro for the hints), although
util-linux still does not compile with my settings.

All above is just informational (I'll put everything relevant up on ftp after
I got util-linux going).
Has anyone a working util-linux with linux 2.6.4 and gcc 3.3.3? (no, the patch
from fake on sm is not enough, at least not the one I tried...:
0903014019880)? If not I'll try to get it running myself, but just wanted to
ask so we're not doing duplicate work.
Regards,
Raphael
