Hi stefan, hi list,
there is a problem with the tetex 3.0 update patch applied:
in the built tetex package, the "latex" binary is a symlink to "pdflatex".
This binray only creates .pdf files instead of .dvi files - even when I'm
passing the -output-format=dvi option. I was not able to find a way for
creating .dvi files.
at least one package (xpdf) fails because of this when creating its
documentation.
is this the intended behavior for tetex 3.0? I don't think so because tetex
3.0 still includes all the dvi utilities..
