Is this tested? I seem to recall there being a grep on this exact version string somewhere

I've built several targets (bootdisk, crystal, generic-bbs) with this patch, and it doesn't seem to cause any problems. Otoh this is required to get the versions of respective forked packages right in config/<conf>/packages.
