About
ROCK Linux Releases are stable and well-tested snapshots of the Development Tree Trunk, accompanied by bootable Crystal ROCK ISO images and binary packages.
Before each release, a feature freeze is declared on the development tree, and one or more Release Candidates are created for extensive testing. Once the latest release candidate is well-working, the respective binaries are made available for download and a new release is publicly announced.
See also our Mission Statement for details on feature freeze. We also welcome everybody to try and test release candidates, and report bugs either at Release Candidate Bugs or on the rock-devel Mailing List.
