KDE 3.3.2 in stable tree
Tobias Hintze updated KDE to version 3.3.2 in the stable tree. This version
has proven its stability and has been thoroughly tested.
The update to 3.4.0 was not made because there are already several known bugs
in that version so that it doesn't deserve the title "stable."

New versioning scheme
With the update of KDE 3.3.2 the difference in packages within the 2.0 tree
got too big for a simple patchlevel release. Tobias Hintze suggested using
the major number '2' for the current stable tree and the major number '3'
for the upcoming stable tree (formerly known as 2.1-dev).
There were no objections and the version in the development branch was changed
to 'TRUNK' as to avoid future versioning confusion

Event: Chemnitzer Linux Days
Daniel Jahre and Benjamin Schieder represented ROCK at the Chemnitzer Linux
Days 2005. Their reports can be found here:

Subversion trouble
There was some ongoing trouble with the subversion server hosting ROCK and
related projects. A few revisions got lost and had to be checked in again.
For speed the backend was changed from bdb to fsfs.
Everyone who hasn't done so already is urgently asked to do a clean checkout
again!
